According to a study by British scientists, 98% of tax advisors’ work will be obsolete in 10 years. One can happily say YES to this if it means that the search for mobile phone bills is no longer necessary, or that the accounting department’s queries as to whether a receipt is business or private, becomes obsolete. In our new world the journal entry of recurring expense invoices is done by the computer software. The costs of searching for and archiving documents and even the costs per accounting record are not in good proportion to the benefits. The digital office does not replace succession planning, nor does it reduce the need for a tax-optimized strategy for founding, selling, liquidating or expanding your business. Both the tax team and digitalization have their function and keep it, but evolve<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What does digital tax consultancy firm mean for me?<\/h2>\n

Imagine the pre-filled tax return: with all the data on pension insurance, health insurance, life insurance and on income tax paid – all a reality. Imagine a shelf, accessible from both sides. This is one of the digital interfaces<\/strong> between you and us: you upload receipts that you have photographed with your smartphone or scanned in batches with a desktop scanner. You get a ping “being processed” when we download this file to our accounting department and feed it into the digital booking assistant. We then put the reports on the shelf and you download them to your computer or forward them to your banker. It’s the same with the digital payroll office. And otherwise – we can also use virtual data rooms, Skype and email at almost any time of the day or night (if the deadline is tight) and arrange to meet digitally – for a face-to-face meeting here, at your place or elsewhere.<\/p>\n

How does it work?<\/h3>\n

You will receive access data from us and, if required, an access code. We make sure that we can exchange scanned data in both directions via a secured cloud, accessible from our website. We ask you to give us the power of attorney for read access to your data at the tax office. For accounting, we would also like you to give us the authorization for read access to your company bank accounts, also a standardized secured procedure<\/strong>. Then it’s off to the races, at least with digital data traffic. Consultation is still possible, and only in person, but also by video call, email, phone call and over coffee. <\/span><\/p>\n

What can Steu-Dat do for you?<\/h3>\n

We have set up a client lab<\/strong> in our office that looks like it might be yours: Scanner, software installed on the computer, small software interfaces. So we already know some of the pitfalls that occur during the initial set-up and use. We can support you quite well in setting up the digital interfaces and then using them on a daily basis. After all, we also have a telephone.<\/p>\n
